๐Ÿ“ก Radar

Detects foreign spaceships approaching our planet.

The Radar is a defensive building that helps you detect incoming enemies before they reach your base (either through ๐Ÿ›ฐ Explorations or ๐Ÿš€ Raids).

As a new players you will probably be fine with just one Radar!

The Radar has different jobs (see ๐Ÿฌ Technology Center for more information on job unlocking):

Simple Scan

Tells you if an enemy fleet is Raiding you, it takes 2 minutes to get the scan results. This scan doesn't provide any intel on enemy forces except for the player's name. It is the fastest scan since you get results in just 2 minutes compared to other types of scans.

Automatic Scan

Every 10 minutes it runs a Simple Scan.

Advanced Scan

Same as a Simple Scan but can detect Explorations and can tell you exactly which units are coming, it takes 10 minutes to get the scan results. Read about ๐Ÿง  Intelligence for more details.

Advanced Automatic Scan

Every 30 minutes it runs an Advanced Scan. Note that this job is expensive, you should disable it temporarily when running low on resources. It also runs 3 times slower than the simple Automatic Scan so it might not detect faster raids in time.

  • Scans can report up to 5 threats at a time (the closest to base)
  • Scans cannot detect Raids or Explorations more than 4 hours away
  • The raider is notified on each Scan

Strategy tips

Getting Raided

When getting raided, depending on what you want to do, the following are good strategies:

  • Fight: Return all traveling units and remember to engage all defensive turrets.
  • Avoid loss: Send all your units to explore, spend as much resources as you can and disengage defensive turrets (this way they won't participate in the battle).

Multiple Radars

The Advanced Scan runs every 10 minutes, but the Advanced Automatic Scan does so every 30, which, with ๐Ÿ’ซ Hyperspeed, enemies could go undetected. A good strategy is to have 2 or more Radars running at the same time, so automatic scans happen more often. You do need to time/calibrate them right. For example, if you want to run Automatic Advanced Scans every 15 minutes, build 2 Radars and start the first job, then wait 15 minutes and start the job in the second Radar. It may take a few tries to get it right. Also, as time goes by, Radars may need recalibration.
